Delbert H. Gray, 76, of El Dorado, died Sunday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, El Dorado. Cremation will precede the services.
He was born on Nov. 16, 1935 at Rosalia, the son of Roy and Carrie (Ades) Gray. He graduated from Augusta High School and then served in the U.S. Army. Delbert worked in Maintenance at Pester Refinery for over 25 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and American Legion and enjoyed games, fishing, hunting, helping people when needed and just enjoyed life.
He was married to Bonnie Stolberg on Nov. 6, 2007 at First Baptist Church in El Dorado.
Those who survive including his wife Bonnie of the home are: sons, Harold Gray of Washington State and Bill Gray of El Dorado; three step-sons, Bill King and wife Sally of Raymore, Mo., George King of Iowa and John (Sabreena) King of El Dorado; sister, Rosa Elliott of El Dorado; brothers, Leroy Gray of Augusta, and Edwin Gray and wife Joyce, Harley Gray and wife Myrna, all Augusta; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Gray, and his parents.
