Ron David Brickley, 57, of El Dorado, died Aug. 3, 2012. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Carlson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
He was born on Oct. 25, 1954 in El Dorado, the son of Ronald and Betty (Fowler) Brickley. He graduated from El Dorado High School and attended two years of college. Ron was a siding contractor. He had a long illness and loved music. He played the guitar and enjoyed spending time with his children. He loved having people over to his house and working in his flower garden. He was a very giving person. He enjoyed spending time with his brother in Grove, Okla., and loved to cook.
Those he leaves are: his mother, Betty Brickley; children, Quyncee Brickley of El Dorado, Scott Brickley of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lauryn Brickley and her twin brother Levi Brickley of El Dorado; his brother, Larry Brickley of Grove, Okla.; nieces, Shanna Brickley of El Dorado and Shi Ann Brickley of Wichita; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gail.
Memorials in his memory for the American Diabetes Association may be left with Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado who are in charge of the arrangements.
