Robert David Roush, Sr. 87, Augusta, retired Service Transfer truck driver for 44 years, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home.
Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m., with visitation from 6-8 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 1,  both at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, in the Garrison/Spring Township Cemetery.
Robert was born Dec.  20, 1924 to Frank and Lydia (Kelly) Roush in Augusta. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Cathern Marie Scott on Nov. 23, 1944 in Wichita.
Survivors include:  son, Charles Roush of Wichita; daughters, Rosie Thomas of Wichita and Helen (Gerry) Stanford of Peabody; daughter-in-law, Martha Roush of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death   by his parents; spouse, Cathern Roush,; son, Robert Roush, Jr.; and a brother, Francis Roush.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas in care of Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory, Augusta.
