Advance voting is underway in the 2012 Primary. Those wanting to vote in advance can do so at the Butler County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including the noon hour, Monday through Friday.

Advance voting ends at noon Aug. 6, with the primary election day Aug. 7.
Starting Jan. 1 of this year, Kansas voters must show photographic identification when casting a vote in person and must have their signature verified and include a copy of an acceptable form of photographic identification or provide a full Kansas driver's license or nondriver ID number when voting by mail.
