For the first time ever, Terradyne Country Club will open its annual Fourth of July fireworks show to Andover residents. In the past, the club has held this display for its members only.
“This year we decided to open it up and invite the residents of Andover to come out and watch the fireworks on our grounds,’” said Greg Bray, general manager and head golf professional. “We are a part of Andover, and this is our way of being a good neighbor.”
No outside food or beverages will be allowed. Terradyne will provide a hamburger and hot dog cookout. The cash-only cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children under age 12.
Bray said a special area will be set aside in which Andover residents who are not members can park. The parking entrance will be off 159th East, just north of Terradyne Drive. Gates will open at 7 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
There is no admission charge for the show.
