Last year’s basketball clinic by Jeff Boschee was a huge success, and now the camp is hoping to make a stop in Augusta once again. Boschee, a former Kansas basketball great, will team with David Devaney, a former head basketball coach and current assistant coach in the Kansas City area. They will run the clinic Monday, June 25 and Tuesday, June 26 at Augusta High?School.  The clinics also feature at least one or two current Jayhawk basketball players, who are kept a surprise until the clinic. Travis Releford was one Jayhawk who helped at the camp last year. Other players who have made an appearance includes Mario Chalmers, Darrell Arthur and Cole Aldrich. The two-day clinic is for boys and girls and will be $70 per player. Kids going into 3rd through 6th grade will play from 10 a.m. to noon the two days. The clinic will be from 2 to 4 p.m. for players entering 7th through 12th grade. The fee includes a camp t-shirt, a basketball and an autograph and picture session with the coaches and players.  The focus of the clinic will include fundamentals, like passing, dribbling and shooting. The camp is sponsored by The Holiday Inn Express in Andover, The Insurance Guys and Palmer Ranch.
