Three residents of the Life Care Center of Andover were honored May 30 with a special birthday party attended by their families and fellow residents.
Thelma Medcalf, Edna Falls and Helen Willingham became members of the Century Club of Life Care Centers of America. Each resident who reaches his or her 100th birthday automatically becomes a member.
At 100 years old, Medcalf and Willingham are the youngsters of the three, while Falls is 102 years young.
Stacy Allen, executive director of the Andover facility, hosted the birthday party at the center. She presented a Century Club pin and membership certificate to each woman. They also received a personalized letter from a member of Life Care’s senior leadership.
“I think the residents enjoy the party and their families are happy and proud,” said Joyce Horst, activities director at the center.
