KANSAS?CITY—Augusta junior Kesten Trebbe shot a round of 82 at the Class 4A state golf meet at the Dub’s Dread Golf Course in Kansas City Monday. Trebbe’s solid performance was good for 22nd place overall. He was one stroke behind six other golfers who tied with an 81. Trebbe, who tied for 12th place at last week’s regional meet, capped a strong season as the Orioles’ leader. He’ll look to get back to State next year and earn a medal. Colby Yates of Tonganoxie won the individual championship with a score of 69. He was four strokes ahead of KC-Piper’s Parker Miller, who took second place with a 73. Piper edged Tonganoxie by one stroke (312 to 313) to win the team championship.
