Augusta's girls soccer team picked up its second win against Circle Friday night with a 2-1 victory on senior night at Hillier Stadium.

Senior Taylor Click scored the game's first goal on a breakaway and hitting a crossing shot past Circle's goalie.

The Thunderbirds tied the game 1-1 in the second half, but the Orioles answered with the go-ahead goal less than two minutes later. Jordan Craft nicely placed a corner kick to allow Michelle Steffes to score with a line shot that traveled just underneath the top crossbar.

Circle put together a furious rally in the final three minutes, but Augusta goalie Taylor Childers made a nice diving save and preserved the win.

The Orioles now will prepare for the Class 4-3-2-1A regional tournament. They travel to play Topeka Hayden Tuesday afternoon.
