The April 4 edition of the Andover American, which is distributed in free newsstands around town Wednesday, features Andover Central senior Nicole Maneth as our “Student of the Week.”
Maneth, who has a 3.98 grade-point average, describes her study habits with two words: Flash cards. She is considering the University of Kansas and the University of Nebraska for college this fall, listens to British television show soundtracks while doing homework and enjoys playing the ukulele.
Be sure to read our Q&A with Maneth, which is only available in the print edition.
Our Athlete of the Week is Paige Matacchiera, an ACHS senior soccer player was just named MVP of the McPherson Invitational. She loves musical theatre and says she models herself after former L.A. Galaxy player Tyrone Marshall.
If you have a nomination for either of these, just drop an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
