Andover Public Schools are having Wheatland Elementary School included as a stop for “Stuff the Bus,” an event to benefit Catholic Charities Harbor House and the YWCA Women's Crisis Center.
A variety of new, unused items are needed between now and Tues., Nov. 29 …
Food. This includes peanut butter, jelly, crackers, beans, rice, pasta, boxed dinners, pancake mix, cooking oil and pudding. Canned items include meat, vegetables, fruits, sauce and juice.
Children. Toys, diapers, wipes, underwear, socks, pajamas, footwear, coats, sweatshirts, jeans, tops and shorts.
Teenagers. Backpacks, duffle bags, hair dryers, curling irons, radios, MP3 players, iPods, sports equipment, underwear, socks, bras, jeans, sweat pants, t-shirts and footwear.
Miscellaneous. Includes hair, bathing, hygiene, cooking and cleaning supplies, trash bags, silverware, batteries, sheets, blankets, towels, wash clothes and alarm clocks.
Wheatland students will "stuff the bus" at 9 a.m. on Wed., Nov. 30.
You may drop off items at Wheatland Elementary School, 15200 E. 21st St., or at the Andover Public Schools District Office, 1432 N. Andover Road, no later than Tuesday, Nov. 29.
