“Novel Destinations,” the adult summer reading program for the Augusta Public Library has concluded.  More than 300,000 pages were turned in by adults, young adults, and children, enabling our APL airplane to circumnavigate the globe and travel around each of the continents almost two times.
The winner of the grand prize, a 19” flat-screen TV, donated by Wal-Mart and the Augusta Public Library was Vesta Wicke.

The winner of the final week’s prize was Jessie Swinson, who was awarded $50 in gift certificates from the Augusta Chamber of Commerce.
