The El Dorado State Park is gearing up for another Outdoor Kansas for (O.K.) Kids Day Saturday.


The El Dorado State Park is gearing up for another Outdoor Kansas for (O.K.) Kids Day Saturday.

The events will begin and 9 a.m. and continued until 3 p.m. in Bluestem Point, Campground #7.

The activities include a fishing derby, sponsored by the Bill Higgins Memorial; Butler County EMS/Rescue; archery; face painting; boat rides; moonwalks; horse rides; skeet shooting; geocaching; and more.

The mission of O.K. Kids is to provide multiple outdoor recreation opportunities for Kansas youth and to promote and provide an active lifestyle.

There also are free prizes and a free lunch.
