Butler is asking for your support tonight (Wednesday) as the Butler volleyball team takes on nationally-ranked archrival Cowley County on in the Butler gym.

The event is being called Pack the Power Plant, and we are trying to set a school record for volleyball match attendance (set two years ago against Cowley). We will be having fun contests and promotions during the match (with prizes provided by various El Dorado businesses), and after the match you can get autographs and pictures with the Butler team and FREE PIZZA!!

This is also DIG PINK night, which is the volleyball team’s annual fundraiser for the Sideout Foundation, which raises money for breast cancer awareness. There will be chances to win one of five pink-themed hand-made blankets, and Baker’s Dozen out of Andover will be selling special pink cookies for $2 apiece. All proceeds will benefit the Sideout Foundation.

So come out to the Butler gym at 6:30 on Wednesday, helping them Pack the Power Plant and raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children age 18 and younger. Butler students, faculty and staff are admitted free with their valid 2010-11 Butler ID. Butler Athletics all-season ticket holders are admitted free when they give their name at the front gate.
