WINFIELD—It didn’t take long for Kayla Clark and the Orioles to establish themselves on the road against Winfield in Tuesday’s duel. Clark had four kills in each of the three games to lead the Orioles to a much-needed, easy 25-17, 25-16, 15-11 victory to spoil Winfield’s senior night. She should be good to go for the Orioles’ next matches at the Rose Hill quad Tuesday, Oct. 5. Paige Reichard was called up from the junior varsity team and had one kill and a block in Wallace’s stead. Tori Dehlinger and the Orioles’ defense had little problems handling Winfield’s offense, making life easy for Taylor Williams to make clean sets.
