The day begins with a pancake and sausage feed at 7:30 a.m. and will conclude  around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon when the name of a Grand Prize winner is drawn for 3-day cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean vessel in the Bahamas.


Some additional incentives have been added to Saturday’s Fly-in at Augusta Municipal Airport west of the city on U.S. 54 Highway at Indianola Road.
The Kansas Museum of Military History will have its Huey helicopter on display,  and there will be a 50 cent discount on aviation fuel sold that day.
Intrust Bank of Augusta will be presenting a $500 Saving Bond to one lucky .

As in the past, there will be airplanes to see, a Young Eagles’ school and flights as well as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) safety classes for pilots to get certification hours.

Airport Manager Daniel White has extended an invitation for council representatives to visit the facility along with the general public.

There’s no cost to enter this drawing. however, you must be present at the time of drawing to win. The cruise prize is sponsored by Global Parts of Augusta.

8 to 11AM - Pancake Feed by Augusta Boy Scouts. who will be serving
10:30 AM - Skydiving Demonstrations
11 AM to 1:30PM  - Free Flights for children under 16 years of age provided by the EAA Young Eagles
8 AM to 12 PM - FAA will be providing Safety Classes for pilots to receive Wings credit
12 to 1 PM - Spot Landing contest for pilots
12: to 2:30 PM - Augusta Boy Scouts will be having a Hamburger Feed for donations
1 PM - Flyover - KC-135 from the McConnell Air Force Base will do a flyover
