The Butler Grizzlies volleyball squad came back from losing four of their last five matches Wednesday night by beating the Coffeyville Red Ravens in four games at Nellis Hall.


The Butler Grizzlies volleyball squad came back from losing four of their last five matches Wednesday night by beating the Coffeyville Red Ravens in four games at Nellis Hall.
The Grizzlies won the match in four games (25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21).
Amanda Newlin led Butler (10-7, 4-1 Jayhawk East) with 11 kills, three aces and two blocks against the Ravens (13-5, 2-2). Brittany Brown had 10 kills and four blocks in the win, while Megan Glandon anso had 10 kills and Lindsay Williams had five aces.
Butler’s next action will be Friday and Saturday at the Hesston Invitational. The Grizzlies will play the host Larks and Iowa Central on Friday, then play Otero (Colo.)?and a placement match on Saturday.
