Andover Central High School social studies teacher Nicole Eitzmann put some smiles on Andover School Board faces this month by sharing a story from her classroom.
Eitzmann asked her class for a show of hands by all who wanted to eat some big Snickers®  candy bars.
Josh was chosen and Ms. Eitzmann gave him a candy bar.
“How did that taste?”
“Great!”
“Want another?”
“Sure.”
Josh gulped down a second candy bar.
“How about a third?”
“Okay.”
Josh ate a fourth, but didn’t feel so well.
The teacher offered him a fifth and had a sixth in hand.
Josh’s experience taught the  class a lesson about “diminishing returns” when you have too much of a good thing.
