Once again, it’s time for homecoming. For El Dorado High School, the big event will be Friday evening.

The homecoming theme is “Everyone’s a Wildcat.”

All of the candidates are senior students and athletes participating in fall sports.  

They were nominated by their fellow athletes, and the entire EHS student body voted
to determine who will be crowned the 2010 fall homecoming king and queen.

The candidates are:

Reid Bruce.  Bruce is the son of Rick and Dena Bruce. He participates in football, wrestling and track. He is also involved in Student Council.  He plans to attend Butler Community College.

Molly Milbourn. Milbourn is the daughter of Clint and Sonja Milbourn. She is one of the state’s top runners in cross-country and track. She also plays basketball.  Milbourn is active in Student Council, National Honors Society, E-Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She plans to attend a four-year college and compete in both cross country and track.

Forrest Evans. Evans is the son of Kirt and Julie Evans. He has participated in football, baseball, basketball and band. Evans plans to attend Butler for two years, and then transfer to the University of Kansas.

Jaimie House. House is the daughter of Kevin and Laura House. She participates in volleyball, basketball and track.  She is involved in KAY, Student Council, E-Club, National Honors Society and Junior Ambassadors. House wants to attend KU, Wichita State University or Kent State in Ohio, and she plans to compete in the pole vault.

Milton Good.  Good is the son of Kyle and Mary Martha Good.  He plays football and baseball and participates in Student Council and Circle of Friends. Good plans to attend Butler.

Haley Bergen. Bergen is the daughter of Teresa and Larry Bergen. She has participated in volleyball, basketball, softball and cheerleading.  She has also been active in KAY, SADD, E-Club and Junior Ambassadors. Bergen plans to go to Butler for two years, then transfer to Kansas State University and major in physical therapy.

Kutter Bookout.  Bookout is the son of Kurt and Kacy Bookout. He has participated in cross country, track and field, tennis and basketball.  He has also been active in National Honors Society, KAY, E-Club, Student Council, World Cultures Club, Circle of Friends, orchestra and Junior Ambassadors. Bookout is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He plans to attend K-State and major in engineering.

Rachael West. West is the daughter of ReJeannia West and Brian West. She has participated in volleyball and basketball. She has also been active in Student Council, Forensics, SADD, KAY and E-Club. West plans to attend Butler where she will play volleyball.

Dale Nuckolls. Nuckolls is the son of Larry and Gail Nuckolls. He has been active in cross country, football, basketball and track and field.  Nuckolls is undecided on his college plans.  

Katy Apsley. Apsley is the daughter of Mac Apsley and Rachel Yanko. She has participated in tennis, volleyball and softball. She has been active in Encore, forensics, the drama productions, World Cultures Club and Circle of Friends. Apsley plans to attend Emporia State University and major in Elementary Education.
