Delmar Marley, 83, of Benton, went to meet his maker, April 14, 2010. He was the son of Robert and Hazel (James) Marley, which both preceded him in death. Delmar was married to Lois Allison on June 2, 1950, whom also preceded him in death in 2003. He was in the 2814th Engineer Petroleum Distribution Company in the U.S. Army as well as served in the National Guard. In 1988, he retired from Beech Aircraft to enjoy a life of traveling, fishing and tinkering on projects. Delmar was a member of the Greenwich United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post in El Dorado. He is survived by his two daughters: Cathy Reed of El Dorado and Karen (Randy) Hutchison of Benton; brother, Frank Marley of Newton; six grandchildren, Kelly Reed of El Dorado, James and Brian Reed of Florida, and Michael, Autumn and Anthony Hutchison, all of Benton; and two great-grandchildren, Allison and Chase Duree of Benton. Inurnment is at Benton Cemetery, with graveside services at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
