The bride is the daughter of Stan and Jan Cox of Leon. The groom is the son of Annette Sneary of Tampa, Kan., and Marty Brenton of Rosalia.
Emily wore a white silk taffeta gown with wide shoulder straps. The bodice and waistline featured rouched gathers and small rows of tiny beads delicately scattered.
The back featured silk covered buttons extending the length of the cathedral train. She carried a hand tie boquet in soft blues and whites - muscari, hydrangea, roses, stephanotis, cala lilies and hyacinth. Matron of honor was Sarah Brogdin of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Molly Cox of Manhattan, Kan., sister of the bride. They wore sky blue, tea length chiffon empire waist dresses with rouched v-necks in the front and back. They carried hand tie boquets in blues and greens - muscari, roses, brazilia berry, hydrangea, hyacinth, lavender and lizianthus.
Best man was Wes Vogts of Towanda, cousin of the groom. Groomsman was Nathan Vogts of Rosalia, cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Kristin Brogdin of Rio Rancho, niece of the bride. Guestbook attendants were Kathy Wolf and Lacey Vogts of Towanda, pianist was Paula Gilliland of Leon, candle lighter was Melanie Bourne of El Dorado, ushers were Jared Flores of Kiowa, Kan., and Shawn Satterfield of Cassoday, and coordinator was Jeff Eastman of El Dorado.
The reception was a catered dinner at First United Methodist Church.
The bride is the granddaughter of Victor and Helen Cox of Rose Hill and Marvin and Harriet Miller of El Dorado and the late Sylvia Miller. The groom is the grandson of Rosalie Brenton of Eureka and the late George Brenton and Lois Moore of Rosalia and the late Alva Moore.
Emily is a 2000 graduate of Bluestem High School and a 2003 graduate of Butler Community College with an associate’s degree in nursing. She is employed as an RN?at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Tyson is a 1999 graduate of Flinthills High School, a 2002 graduate of Pratt Community College with an associate’s degree in applied science and a 2004 graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business. He is employed as a machinist at Frontier Refinery. Tyson and Emily reside in El Dorado.
