Pauline Evelyn Hoy, 94 of Cassoday, died Saturday, Nov. 21 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Services will be 10:30 AM, Wed, Nov. 25 at Cassoday United Methodist Church.
Pauline Evelyn Hoy, 94 of Cassoday, died Saturday, Nov. 21 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 10:30 AM, Wed, Nov. 25 at Cassoday United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Interment will be in Cassoday Cemetery.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1915 at Atlanta, KS the daughter of Clyde and Elizabeth (Hall) Bing. She was a homemaker and had lived in the same home for 65 years. She loved to feed her birds, work in her flower garden and had made afghans for her great-grandchildren.
On September 10, 1938 she married John Hoy at Cassoday. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1995.
Those she leaves are a daughter Susan Hoy, Wichita; sons and their wives Larry and Shirley Hoy, Columbia, ILL; Gary and Lisa Hoy, Cassoday; Charles and Jennie Hoy, Emporia; seven grandchildren James Hoy; Debbie Knight; Lesa Paulson; Chris Hoy; Gregg Hoy; Torrie Brinson; Clay Hoy and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son Clinton and six brothers and five sisters.
