Heather Temple of rural El Dorado received a $1,000 scholarship from the AZ Paint Horse Club Endowment #4. 


Heather Temple of rural El Dorado received a $1,000 scholarship from the AZ Paint Horse Club Endowment #4. 

Kansas is in the zone 4 region.

Temple has shown with the KPHA for many years.  She has won  2004 and 2007 World Wide Paint Horse Congress Championships  and most recently won 2009 Reserve high point for the 14-18 age division with the South Central Stock Horse Assoc.

 She is a sophomore at Colby Community College where she has received a scholarship for the Equestrian Team. 

She is an open rider, allowing her to ride in English, Horsemanship and reining disciplines. 

Upon graduation from Colby, Temple will continue her education at Kansas State University. Her major is public relations and business.

 She is the daughter of Randy and Trudi Temple of rural El Dorado and grandaughter of Ilo Joachim and Ethan Temple.
