The Star-Vu Drive-In will be hosting Farmageddon II Saturday.

Several bands will be returning from last year’s event, which was held in October.

“I’m just excited to have some music going on out here,” said Marty Ehret, co-owner. “Last year was so much fun. I think it will be a good turnout this year, too.”

Gates will open for the event at 1 p.m., with the first band taking the stage at 2.
Among those performing will be Gulch, The Old Black, Black Gasoline, Torque, Skrapyard, Dialan Watts, Marsupial, Shrive and Dragdog.

Following the bands, a double feature showing “Terminator Salvation” and “The Hangover” will be shown.

In addition, El Dorado artist Amboo Ploy will be out during the day doing caricatures.

The concession stand also will be open throughout the day.

Admission for all of the events is $10 per person. Bracelets will be given to those attending so they can come and go throughout the day.

For those who can’t make it out Saturday, they will be showing “Terminator Salvation” and “The Hangover” Friday evening for $10 a car load. The show will start at dusk.

The drive-in is located at 1010 S. Haverhill Rd. For more information call 321-2444 or visit their Myspace page at www.myspace. com/starvudrivein.
