Around noon Tuesday southeast of Augusta


Just before noon Tuesday,  Butler County Sheriff deputies responded to the intersection of SW 150th Street & Shumway Road, southeast of Augusta, for a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries.
An investigation of the accident indicates that a 2002 Hyundai driven southbound by 19-year-old Cameron D. Knox of Augusta failed to yield at the intersection of SW 150th Street and Shumway Road. 
Knox sideswiped an eastbound 2000 Jeep driven by 35-year-old Robert D. White of Douglass. White's vehicle rolled over onto its top from the collision.
There was one injury reported as a result of the accident.  White, driver of the Jeep complained of a small laceration to his left forearm due to broken glass.  He was treated by Butler County Em ergency Medical Services (EMS) but refused further medical treatment.
The mishap was investigated by the Butler County Sheriff's Patrol Division.
