The Butler Board of Trustees were supplied with a final draft of the Kansas Board of Regents Performance Agreement for 2010-2012.

The agreement was submitted for approval by Dr. Gene George, executive director of research and institutional effectiveness.

The board reviewed the plan at their June meeting and made no recommendations to revise it.

Members were able to view instruction for completing the performance agreement application and reporting form.

The performance agreement and report requires identification of key performance indicators, a three-year performance history, targets, performance outcomes and evaluation.

The application will also include institutional goals and key performance indicators along with descriptions of data, comparisons of three-year performance and rationale for selection of targets.

The college was required to submit the plan to KBOR on July 15 and now the KBOR staff is reviewing it and will respond to revisions.

The plan will then go to the Regents Board in the late fall for approval to eventually be implemented Jan. 1, 2010.

The board approved the plan for further movement toward approval and application in 2010.
