A little rain couldn’t stop people from enjoying the activities at Prairie Port this year.

Despite the damp weather, most of the Prairie Port festivities went on as planned.

After rain causing the concert to be cancelled Friday evening, a good crowd turned out for the parade Saturday morning, as well as the events at East Park, including the arts and crafts fair, mud volleyball and talent shows.

The two new events also went on as planned.

The barbecue competition drew several competitors, who were vying for the top barbecue title, despite the mud in their area.

The street vault also had several people in attendance as they cranked up the music and watched the pole vaulters jump.
