With  Emprise Bank of Augusta


 Chad McDaniel has been promoted to president of Emprise Bank – Augusta, effectively immediately.
Chad will take the place of Galen Nelson, who has been promoted to the role of Executive Vice President and Community Bank Division Manager for Emprise Bank.
Chad was formerly Senior Vice President and Commercial Banker for Emprise Bank – Augusta.
He was with Prairie State Bank prior to the merger with Emprise Bank, and has a total of 15 years of banking experience between Prairie State Bank and Emprise Bank.
 “We have a great team in Augusta and under Chad's leadership I am confident they will continue to excel,” said Tom Page, Emprise Bank President.
Chad has lived in Augusta for nearly 30 years, moving to the community as a young child and leaving only to attend college.
He has been active in the community, and currently serves as treasurer of the Augusta Public Library Board and treasurer of the Augusta Crime Stoppers Board.
 He is also a member of the Economic Restoration Committee of Downtown Augusta Inc. and a member of Loan Committee for the Butler County Economic Development Office.
Chad earned his Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Finance from Emporia State University.
As President, he will oversee the entire Augusta market, which includes three branches and 22 employees. His primary office location will remain at the Augusta Downtown location, 512 State St.
Markets overseer
In his new position, Galen  will oversee all markets and branches outside of the Wichita Metro area, which includes 19 locations in 13 communities across the state, $438 million in total assets, and more than 130 employees.
Galen began his banking career in 1974. He joined Emprise Bank in 1999 as a commercial lender, and in 2006 was promoted to President of Emprise Bank – Augusta.
