Day Watch
A non-injury accident occurred in the 100 block of 7th when a 2006 Mitsubishi car operated by Cameron J. Russell, Belle Plaine, was pulling into a parking stall and a 2004 Ford truck operated by William J. Baxter, Wichita, was backing up and struck the Russell vehicle.  The Russell vehicle sustained $1,500 in damages and the Baxter vehicle sustained $50 in damages.

A minor injury accident occurred at Belmont and Ohio when a 2006 Chevrolet passenger car operated by Ralpholene N. Marache, Rose Hill, was stopped facing westbound on Belmont when a 2004 Harley Davidson operated by Donald R. Hagebusch, Augusta, was attempting to turn east onto Belmont from Ohio, and stuck the Marache vehicle.  The Marache vehicle sustained $2,500 in damages and the Hagebusch vehicle sustained $500 in damages and Hagebusch refused medical treatment.

Fire units responded to a grass fire at Purity Springs and 120th.

An aggravated assault was reported in the 2400 block of Pembroke Crt.

An assault was reported in the 1000 block Pembroke.

Fire units responded to Highway 54 and Purity Springs for a vehicle leaking fuel.  The spill was contained and all units returned to the station.

Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of State.

Vandalism was reported in the 400 block of State Street.
Animals found:
A German shorthair female dog was found in the 1600 block of Cedar Lane.
A male Chow mix was found in the 1400 block of Ohio.
A?brown lab was found at 7th and Dike Road.
A brown and black dog was found at 7th and Dike Road.
A beagle was found in the 1400 block of Kelly Court.
Night Watch
Pickup 5 responded to the 900 block of Money for the report of a possible  grass fire.  Upon arrival, it was determined that kids had been playing with firecrackers.

Pickup 5 responded to 70th and Hunter for the report of an injury accident.  Upon arrival, units assisted EMS with the scene.
