To the Gazette:

Thank you Kent Bush for finally saying what many of us want to -- in  your editorial, “Earth Day becoming new religious holiday?”  on April 22, 2008, in the Augusta Gazette.

This “carbon footprint” idea is so silly...fishermen using a big boat trading their “footprint” with someone growing plants.  Just plain goofy.

We’re urged to use the new  compact fluorescent light bulb made in China.  If broken, the mercury it contains will spread through the area, you must evacuate and call authorities to clean it up.  That saves a lot of energy!

How about that long cold winter?!
