A non-injury accident occurred on the west side of the city lake when a 1990 Mazda truck operated by a local juvenile lost control and slid off the roadway striking a tree.  The vehicle sustained $1,500 in damages.

Day Watch
A larceny was reported in the 100 block of 7th.

A non-injury accident occurred in the 1600 block of Ohio when a 2008 Ford truck operated by John Yelverton, Augusta, and a 2002 Ford Focus operated by Terri J. Schowalter, El Dorado, were both southbound on Ohio.  Schowalter was attempted to avoid a vehicle in a private drive and struck the back of the Yelverton vehicle.  The Yelverton vehicle sustained $50  in damages and the Schowalter vehicle sustained $1,000 in damages.

A minor injury accident occurred in the 1400 block of Ohio when a Ford passenger car operated by Kristin J. Holcomb, Atlanta, and a 2004 Ford Focus operated by Genie M. Brazell, Augusta, were stopped in northbound traffic.  A?2002 Saturn operated by a local juvenile was also northbound on Ohio and was  unable to stop, striking the back of the Brazell vehicle.  The Brazell vehicle in turn struck the back of the Holcomb vehicle.  All vehicles sustained no damage and all parties refused medical treatment.
