Fred “Butch” Lee Ohmart, Jr., 54, El Dorado, pipe fitter at Cessna Aircraft, died on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007.

Celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the First Christian Church in El Dorado.

Fred was born on Dec. 20, 1953 in El Dorado, the son of Fred and Geneva (Grow) Ohmart.  He attended schools in Clearwater and graduated from Clearwater High School.  After school he joined the U.S. Army in 1972 and served until 1978.  He married Debra Lynch on June 16, 2007 at the American Legion in El Dorado.  Butch was an active member of the American Legion Post 81.  He was also director of the Legion Riders Post 81.

Survivors include: wife, Debra of the home; sons, Gabe (Christ) Ohmart of Augusta, Frank (Angel) Ohmart of Baxter Springs, and Matthew (Lindsay) Lynch of Wichita; parents, Fred and Geneve Ohmart, Sr. of Augusta; granddaughters, Jade and Montana Ohmart.
