Butler sophomore Evan Koehler was recently named the KJCCC Player of the Week for the week ending April 13. In six games, Koehler hit .600 (15-for-25), three home runs, four doubles and had 18 RBI while leading Butler to a 5-1 record – including three wins against No. 11 Hutchinson. Koehler also scored eight runs with a walk and a stolen base.

All of Flinthills track and field athletes set a person record of some kind at the West Elk track meet. Despite small squads, both the Mustangs' boys and girls teams finished seventh out of an 11-team field.

Andover Central's baseball games scheduled for today at Campus have been postponed due to weather. The games have been rescheduled for May 15.

Gary Cattarin, of Marlborough, was in a suite on the 30th floor of the Marriott Hotel, partying with members of the Squannicook Running Club, when the first explosion went off at last year’s Boston Marathon just before 3 p.m.
