The Circle Thunderbirds lost to the Andale Indians 57-60 Friday night, handing the 4-1 Thunderbirds their first loss of the season.Trailing 14-6 in the first the Thunderbirds went on a 7-0 run to make it a one point game on a 3-point buzzer-beater by Cody Eastridge at the end of the first.The team rallied in the second with a 16-14 run to go into the half up 29-30.

Friday night’s game between the Douglass and Wichita Trinity basketball teams was tight the whole way. And in those kind of games, the team that makes the one or two biggest plays down the stretch usually comes out with the win.
