Augusta’s 8th-grade girls basketball team had its dominating season rewarded Thursday night. The Bluejays defeated Prairie Hills 44-26 to capture the Pioneer League Div. II regular-season championship. The title is the second-straight for these Bluejays, who went undefeated in league as 7th graders.With the win, Augusta improved its overall record to 9-1 and its league record to a perfect 6-0.
