    • A living wax museum is a fun, creative way to get students doing history instead of just reading about it. Garfield Elementary fourth grade teachers Cathy Shaffer and Jennifer Cody started the tradition five years ago and their students love learning about history. They each research a famous person and create a characterization of him or her. This week they hosted the Living Wax Museum for fellow students, parents and visitors.
